I wouldn't wish that on them, but as the season goes on, if he's throwing with a 5-TD lead in the 4th quarter, someone's taking a shot. And that will be Coach Sweatshirt's fault. I don't care if the Pats run up the score - this is the pros, not high school or college. You don't like what they're doing, then stop them. But what goes around comes around. If Belicheat keeps playing his starters late in these blowouts, someone's getting taken out. Back in the day, there would have been a dogpile on Brady after that TD run. Dick Butkus, Deacon Jones, Harvey Martin, or Jack Lambert would lay down the law. Coaches like Buddy Ryan would have put a bounty on Brady's ass. | |
