Of course I am! This is going to be a great game. I really have no idea who is going to win but I gotta root for the home team! And even if we win, if we win, HAH! Even if we win! Even if we play so far above our heads that our noses bleed for a week to ten days; even if God in Heaven above comes down and points his hand at our side of the field; even if every man woman and child held hands together and prayed for us to win, it just wouldn't matter because all the really good looking girls would still go out with the guys from the New England PATRIOTS because they've got all the money! It just doesn't matter if we win or we lose. IT JUST DOESN'T MATTER! IT JUST DOESN'T MATTER! IT JUST DOESN'T MATTER...

I agree, he may not be able to get to a computer, the lines tend to be really long. We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their color. Maya Angelou

May you burn and rot in hell!!!!! Brady's an okay guy and a Hall of Fame signal-caller. But if the Pats continue on this path, and keep running up scores, someone's gonna do it. I wouldn't wish that on them, but as the season goes on, if he's throwing with a 5-TD lead in the 4th quarter, someone's taking a shot. And that will be Coach Sweatshirt's fault. You may not like it, but it's a foreseeable risk. Don't shoot the messenger. I'm not the first one to bring this up, the national media and experts have touched on the issue. http://www.courant.com/sp...5860.story I completely understand what the Pats want to prove. All I'm saying is their methods could backfire. Suppose they're up big late, and in an attempt to try to score another 52 points, Brady blows out a knee on a scramble or Matt Light falls on him as he's trying to protect him in the pocket? The Pats aren't just rubbing it in, they're tempting fate. They better be careful. uptownNY is right. If the Pats had tried this in the 70's with less quarterback-friendly rules, Brady might have been roughed up. Or the 80's for that matter. If you don't think a Ronnie Lott, Lawrence Taylor or Dexter Manley wouldn't have taken a shot under the same circumstances, think again. I don't care if the Pats run up the score - this is the pros, not high school or college. You don't like what they're doing, then stop them. But what goes around comes around. If Belicheat keeps playing his starters late in these blowouts, someone's getting taken out. Back in the day, there would have been a dogpile on Brady after that TD run. Dick Butkus, Deacon Jones, Harvey Martin, or Jack Lambert would lay down the law. Coaches like Buddy Ryan would have put a bounty on Brady's ass.
