The Lakers look like a CBA team....

When did the Lakers become a CBA team? If they lose Kobe they may not win 30 games. Mitch Kupcheck has no idea how 2 run an NBA team.

The Rockets might beat them by 25 points tonight. The Rockets are so good that Steve Francis is not in the rotation.

That's right - two-time starting All-Star guard Stevie Franchise will not get off the bench. That is a DEEP bench.

The Lake show is in big trouble.

It happens. I think the best thing they could do is trade Kobe to anyone that'll give them #1 draft picks. Then they can suck for a year or two and try to get the next Kobe/LeBron/Michael in the draft.

I know that the Lakers have been trying to trade Kobe to the Chicago Bulls in exchange for Luol Deng, Ben Gordon, maybe Tyrus Thomas, and some draft picks. After all of those years without Michael Jordan, the Bulls are contenders for the NBA Finals again, but I think if they traded for Kobe, they will end up falling backwards. They have a pretty good nucleus right now that just needs more experience to gel into a dangerous unit, but if they get Kobe, they'll be just like what the Lakers were last season - which is Kobe scoring a lot of points and having spectacular games but hogging the ball and pushing his teammates away.

Co-sign.....unless the Bulls can con the Lakers into taking players like Hinrick, Smith, Duhon, and draft picks.

Why would the Bulls wreck their team? I don't see that trade happening. The Bulls are close now; tearing the team apart makes no sense.

I would propose Bryant going home to Philly for Andre Igoudala, a slew of draft picks and a throw-in or two. Unless the Sixers can strike a deal with Igoudala in the next 32 hours, he becomes a restricted free agent in the summer.

I agree with you totally. The Bulls have absolutely no reason to break up the team they've assembled to this point. I think that the Lakers are the ones really trying to push this deal, and they are attempting to get the most value for Kobe while at least trading him to a contender. The other contending teams (San Antonio, Phoenix, Cleveland, Detroit, Boston, Miami) don't want him, and the rest of the teams either aren't playoff bound or have nothing of value to trade back other than potential draft picks. Right now, I don't see the Bulls making any moves to get Kobe.

Besides, If Kobe is having problems getting along with Phil Jackson, who is probably the most zen coach in the NBA, how the heck would he deal with Scott Skiles, who is known as a strict disciplinarian and has a tendency to get really tough on his players at times?

Agreed but here is the problem.....the Bulls can't win a title with this lame ass team. 49 wins and a second round playoff loss is as far as this team can go.
