Insults! Last week two kids ran past me, one chasing the other. As they passed, the little boy turns to the girl chasing him and screams, "go away, you, you... you GIRLPANTS." She stopped dead, cut to the core. Well, sort of. What's the best insult you've heard? How effective was it? How did they retaliate? There's Joy In Expatriation.

there was a real 'colin hunt' david brent type idiot I used to work with, you know the sort that say 'exqueeze me' etc.
He kept making 'witty' jokes and comments to our receptionist who was the nicest, politest, and quiet person I've ever met. Anyway one day after a particularly bad/crude joke, she said 'I would love to have a battle of wits with you, but I can see that you're unarmed' that shut him up for a few hours

Sometimes when things get too macho in the youth soccer league and a coach gets out of line, I have a friend that will look that coach square in the eye, smile, and say, "Sorry to hear about your penis".

I know that I have heard a lot of new insults since I have been in the UK. I wish I could remember some of the ones I have heard so far. I am not big on throwing insults out to ppl. I guess I might need to learn to keep a few in my back pocket though.

Hopefully I helped keep his blood pressure down...after seeing the results, he thanked me.
