You know, folks are joking (or not so joking) about the org not being a worthwile thing, or a waste of time, or whatever. And sure, there's that element, I suppose.
But it kind of makes me think it's short-sighted all the same. And if that's what it is to you, I suppose that's what it is. But I've had some of the best times of my life in the last 5 years as a result of this website and my involvement in the community here. I've been to visit orgers in Amsterdam, London, Manchester, LA, Seattle, Chicago, Arizona and Florida. People from all over the world have been here to visit me in Minneapolis. I've made friends I know I'll have for the rest of my life.
To me, it's been a most worthwile use of my time. And if ever comes the day I move on due to other obligations, priorities, or that I'm just not getting out of it what I used to, I will always look back positively on my time here. How could I not with all it's "done" for me?

Congratulations, Carrie. You should estimate your average time spent per post and figure out how many hours that amounts to. Like, if it were 30 seconds average, that would amount to 240 hours, or about 10 solid days of posting. biggrin

10 solid days over 5 1/2 years really isn't bad. lol
