I HATE Drunks!!

I was roused from a deep sleep this morning at 5am, by banging on my back door, i assumed it was hubby( working late shift) & he had forgot his keys...i opened the door & some drunk woman was swaying there saying..who are you & how did i get here? where am i?
(oh jesus,why me)?

I asked her what she wanted & she said she cant find her purse or cell & needed to get home..this was no kid she was at least 30 yrs old! but thats not the worst part...i looked down to see she had Vomited ALL over my door & floor mat!~~~~~
ARRGGHHH!!!!

I had more than a few choice words for her, but im sure its all a blur to her now~
I called her a cab & cleaned up the mess....which made me want to vomit myself!! ;-(

I couldnt get back to sleep, so im gonna try 4 a nap later
Been living here for 20 yrs & this is a first....

I REALLY HATE drunks! barf

I'm so sorry! That really sucks. My own experiences with drunks (besides my dad) have just been really loud music while I'm trying to sleep. It sounds like you handled it well.

A friend of mine had a bad experience with a drunk a couple of years ago. Her husband was working until 1 in the morning and she went up to bed by herself. When her husband came home, he went upstairs and asked her "who's that on the couch?". She was like "what are you talking about?" and he said there was some man on the couch. He thought it was a friend of hers or some client she works with. It turned out that the guy was a drunk that came in through the back door that my friend stupidly leaves unlocked. He thought he was in his own house. He went into her bathroom and brushed his teeth with her tooth brush and then grabbed a blanket & went to sleep on their couch. My friends called the cops and when the guy came to, he told them he walked to the house from a town that was about 45 miles away. They found his car parked down the street from my friends house so he drove from that town. He's really lucky he didn't kill someone or himself.

My friend still leaves that door unlocked! disbelief

See I'm the opposite, I find it fascinating watching drunk folks. Albeit from a safe distance!

I went into the pub today with absolutely no idea what i had done last night. It turns out the only bad thing i had done was break a little bit of wind.
Imagine my relief.

eek wow, I have a different take on this in that I'm glad she knocked on someone's door that did not harm her or take advantage of her state of being. I think you were this ladies guardian angel this morning.

ill gross.

my worst run-in with a drunk was my first year at school. i was asleep, my roommate had people over, and i woke up at about 3 am with some guy half on top of me, pushing his hands up my shirt. THAT was fun. lol

I hate being around drunk people. HATE it. I don't like the unpredictability and find that alcohol often brings out the worst in people. Going to a bar is my worst nightmare.

Agreed. I used to have a girlfriend (short-lived friendship) and we went out all of 4-5 times together. She would always get drunk (after the first time out with her I drove because I didn't trust her driving). Anyway, she would always make a complete idiot out of herself and it would make me sooooo mad (but I figured, that's her life). But the last straw was when she and I went out one evening and she met this guy....at the end of the evening he and his friend walked us to my car. I got in to the drivers seat and closed the door. She got in and asked me to lower the window. Then she began "bustin slob" with this guy she didn't even know...o.k., so that's her problem right? WRONG, I guess upon seeing this, the guy's friend comes over to the drivers side, knocks on my window, and when I lowered the window he tries to stick his head in the window as if I was going to "bust slob" with HIM. I hadn't even spoken 7 words to this guy....I was so angry. I never went out with her again and to this day we do not speak.

I would call the most called number and explain your situation...and would like to get it back to the owner etc...and if she shows up you can tell her how she puked on your porch.

The OnlY way id give it back if she re-inbursed me for my losses...the 2 prs of shoes i threw out & a 6X8 area rug that i CANNOT get the stench out of~
she may as well buy a new phone for the value of the stuff she ruined.

I dunno...i guess i want her to realize , you cant act like an asshole without paying the price. Live & learn

only if they drive.. do i dislike them.. was a very horrible story on the news here some months back.. of a chick, who was drunk and naked @ the wheel of a car and she killed this 41 year old guy, who was crossing the street and it was very graphic... i dislike it when ppl are so naive to think in their minds 'cant happen to me' when they drink n drive...

Thats horrible that you have to clean up after her disbelief

My grandmother, who lives next door, has a habit of leaving her doors open. So one day in the middle of the night she had a drunk man just walk into her house, he thought he was at his home. My grandmother kindly showed him the way out.

You were very kind to call her a cab.

depends on the type of drunk, ones like the people in the stories mentioned suck, but i know plenty of people who are nice and polite when drunk and who know when they have had too much and dont drink to the point where they have no idea whats going on!

I grew up with an alcoholic father, and before she died..my mother had become an alcoholic...So, I tend to stay away from drunks, not really good memories for me. I do enjoy a good drink, but I can hold my own. It takes alot to get me drunk, must be in the genes. eek
