he has been to 3 doctors, and now one is saying possible lactose intolerance.
confused my sister is dead sick of it. The results from first fecal sample was negative, but 2 more tests were needed to be conclusive apparently, but the Australian health care system only pays for the first one wacky

sigh my sister says he is eating and drinking normally and doesn't seem unwell

omfg they only pay out for one what a stupid policy it can keep recurring and transfered 2 others if not sorted out. shake
Mind you it may not be, there was a nasty gastro bug in the UK that brought a lot of the young and elderly down for weeks in the UK.

If u want to eat something have things like plain old pasta (nothing on it) and plain potato...I found that when the kids have something like that it seems to help ...also good when someone has giardia

This advice I got from a Consultant Paediatrician for diarrohea

Take a whole apple and cut it up, take a pan and put brown sugar in it and melt it gently, put the whole apple in and wait for it to cook down into a mush. Cool and give to the child.

The pectin in the apple will stop the diarrohea, the sugar will give energy. Drink plenty of water.

AND do you know....it works!!!
