I remember when I was trying to get my Driving Permit...we had 3 chances and within the first 5 sec of pulling out of the parking lot, the guy would ask me "What's the speed limit on this street?" There was no sign so I simply guessed. He never told me if I got it right or not, but would ask me on the subsequnt testing. It felt like I was trying to guess Rumplestilsken's name! I had a similar experience in my 1st test. I was absolutely cacking it. I remember checking my rear view mirror twice before I got into gear, the only thing behind me was a brick wall!
I set off and fucked up straight away - the tester actually grabbed the steering wheel and shouted 'stupid boy' at me. Shite. Perfect drive and highway code quiz followed, and I thought, 'maybe, just maybe...' but he too had the rank of kommander kunt.... passed 2nd time tho! "Sheeeeeeeeit" | |
