jami0mckay said: PricelessHo said: I've only read the alchemist, whats that one about? it's like a mini autobiography in the form of Q&A. Amazing amazing stuff man. He is so inspiring in so many ways. he talks about his life back from when his family had him institutionalised in a mental institution three times just because he wanted to be an artist not an engineer, to his kidnapping experience by the paramilitaries, to his involvement in black magic in the past and how it backfired at him later on when he thought it was something that he could choose to foresake, up untill how he finally mellowed down and decided to pursue his childhood dream of becoming a writer. Very intense book indeed. p.s. if you read that book and then decided to follow his body of work, you'll realise that in each novel you'll spot him behind a character, be it male of female. | |
