I do not have a book I return to over and over again to cheer me up but if I'm feeling sad usually anything by Nick Hornby does the trick.
In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.

the harry potter books are my comforts reads, ive read them so much they are like an old friend.

they are also my i cant be bothered reading anything else/or im bored reads


if i want a cry its tuesdays with morrie - mitch albom or marley and me- john grogan
