Do Orgers when you meet/speak to them...

Do Orgers when you meet them address you by your real name or your Org name? Do you find it weird when they call you by your real name? I do!

SHAHN-tee

Shanti simply means "peace". It's a beautiful meaning and also a very beautiful sound. The shanti is repeated three times, as are many chants in Buddhism. You could interpret this as meaning peace in body, speech, and mind (i.e. in the entirety of one's being), or as a wish for peace individually, collectively, and universally.

peace!

I've spoken to several orgers.

Most call me Jill.

But I get called Hokie from time to time. On a casual level either is fine, but if I get to know someone on a deeper level then I'd prefer to be called Jill.
