The Org NBA 2007-2008 Thread

Can't believe another NBA season is almost here. I'll start things off with the Allan Houston story;

Lenny hasn't played since the mid-70's. He ain't as fast as he used to be.

My Houston Rockets will be better then last season. Tracy McGrady has a chip on his shoulder.

I just read the Lakers are open to trading Kobe. Good luck getting equal value for the best player in the NBA.

I know, just messing around.

My boy Arenas is back and ready to take over the NBA. The only Kobe deals are involving him going to Chi-Town for Ben Gordan and some other guys.

"Twin Towers" you mean "Twin Tubbies." NY should be better then last season, but the East is improved from last season.

I'm really excited for the season to start. Each of my top 3 teams will be intriguing to watch this year!

Portland will have to cope with the loss of Greg Oden, but with a young core of Brandon Roy and LaMarcus Aldridge, they should mature and grow into a solid group. Oden's return next year could lead them to the playoffs.

Utah will have to cope with some chemistry issues with Kirilenko, but I look for them to try to emerge as an elite team again this year, after dusting the Rockets (sorry Corvette, couldn't resist!) and Warriors to advance to the Western Conference Finals.

Seattle has blown up the franchise in the hope of rebuilding it around Kevin Durant and Jeff Green. Hopefully they can stay in Seattle, but a move to Oklahoma City (can you believe it?) looks certain. sad
