Do you feel confident and popular when you go out or at work?

Definitely shy, but not necessarily a wallflower.
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Confident at work, and confident while out (but too much attention can get tiring)... I am not entirely comfortable with overt attention, it still can surprise me at times. In my more natural state, I am quite independent and a loner in my free/personal time. It is rare when I am flatter by the attention I get at times and quite honestly... it can be overwhelming, because I do pay close attention to many people, trying to take notice in all who are present.

I try to be polite/understanding, but at times... I just want to be left alone. lol

I'm kind of a different person at work than I am other places... Maybe it's the gemini in me, but I'm all alpha female, confidence bordering on arrogance and such at work. People have actually been afraid of me, I'm always right, I've been told I have a "strong personality", etc.

I'm not like that at all with my friends or in social settings. I tend towards the shyer, quiet side and I avoid conflict if at all possible.

I blend with the walls in a crowd, or even in small groups.
I love being quiet, or speaking low and soft.
I'm extremely shy.

It's weird. I have so many issues with self esteem and am so uncomfortable about my looks but it never makes me shy like it probably should.

Well, thanks for that but what I mean is that typically self esteem issues tend to make people so uncomfortable that they withdraw from things and wanna hide, does it not?

Guh, maybe I have no idea what I am talking about.

That's probably it.
