What is the greatest flightless bird? I really want to know if I am alone in thinking that the noble penguin is the greatest of all flightless birds. I think that the Emperor Penguin is one of the best... but all penguins are just divine!
Here are all the flightless birds that I can think of at the moment: Penguin Rhea Nandu Ostrich Kiwi Kakapo Cassowary EMU Which one of these noble creatures is the best? EDIT: Holy shit... The ostrich.. A friend of mine has sometimes visions of ostrich farms every where and is easy to scam:

I agree that the penguin is pretty unbeatable. What about puffins? Can they fly? I can't remember for some reason. The Diatryma or Gastornis from the Cenozoic era were pretty cool. They're pretty scary though cuz they're bigger than humans.
Now that might give you nightmares. Chickens are rad too. | |
