I thought this thread was about an early 90's rap group from the title...I was going to request it be moved to the non prince section... neutral

My bad..
clever clever quotation - attention getting quote - sad yet witty remark - look at me! Im deep quote- song lyric about my ex cause that bitch stole my mp3 player! - line from movie I liked - Prince lyric - not very clever sig mocking other sigs

Holy cow lol Go to an Asian market but some Safeway's carry it too - Nishiki is a good brand. I've never had to do all that prep (maybe I'm doing it wrong??), I just rinse it, throw it in my rice cooker & it's good & sticky. It's actually the only kind I'll buy for years now. Give yourself a few tries to get it wrong though, the instructions never get the water to rice ratio right. I find a 1:1 ratio the best... smile

And for a good peanut sauce out of a bottle, try Stonewall Kitchen - they have a roasted garlic peanut sauce that's really good. Whole Foods carries it but they also sell online, lots of good stuff there (I'm gonna cave & order the pumpkin pancake mix any second eek )...

I think all that soaking makes the rice cook quicker or something, but if you're willing to cook it longer I'm pretty sure you can skip that step. My average cooking time for 2 cups of rice is a little over an hour I think smile

Try a high gluten rice. Rinse it very well and use a rice cooker.
Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.
