I once heard a noise outside the place I used to live, and saw a man beating a woman with a payphone receiver...all I could do was call the cops. Damn, I called the cops a lot when I lived there....

Please don't take this as an offense, but when I read this, I couldn't help but think that this was none of your business. Please don't attack me - this is just my opinion. I don't think you are a bad person for what you did, I just don't think that, given the limited details of the situation, one should yell such profanities to someone - who knows what went on in the car prior to this (mind you - I wasn't there, I don't know what was said prior, nor do I condone yelling at women for no reason). Please don't attack me.

So last night I'm waiting for my food at the Del Taco and I am the next car from the window. All of a sudden I hear this loud *BOOM!* and some muffled yelling. I like Oh my God, the Del Taco is being robbed! but I'm trapped with another car behind me.

Please God don't let any shooting happen!!!!

All of a sudden the passenger door on the car in front of me bursts open and this big dude gets out of the car and he is flipping out. He slams the door and then storms off and the girl puts her head out the window and asks the cashier to please hurry and just give her whatever is ready.

So this guy leaves and walks across the street. The girl didn't seem to go after him. So after I got my food, I left and as I drove past him I slowed down and yelled out the window:

You Fucking piece of SHIT! You Goddamn COWARD! You fucking PUSSY. Pick on someone your own size instead of punking up GIRLS



And with that I zoomed off So yes, thankfully I had the luxury of a get away vehicle because I definitely wouldn't have confronted him on the street as he was about 5,000 times bigger than me I thought for a minute whether or not to say anything for fear of getting him more worked up and then take it out on his girlfriend but he was probably going to do that anyway. But DAMN it felt great to tell a goddamn douchebag to fuck off!

there are appropriate times to get involved in another's affairs, especially when a person asks for help or is clearly in need of a third party's intervention. considering this woman, according to your own story, was collected enough to wait for her food order, it doesn't appear as though this was an instance of your busy bodying being a necessity.
