We have lots of plants. Our little orange tree doesn't want to bloom though! mad

ah, good idea. I did that for the pot plants in college!

Actually we do fertilize many of our plants already, but I don't know if she's done that one.

check first don't want to overdo it! biggrin More light (but not direct sunlight) works wonders for most plants

well, not since we got a kitty..too afraid she`d eat them..but i do have about 9 stalks of lucky bamboo...they last for yrs & yrs. lol

it was an indoor/outdoor cat, so the dirt was closest to outside it got I guess lol

I have plants in my windows. I don't know what they're called, but they don't require too much watering. I've had them for years. biggrin

I asked last night if she fertilizes it. She said she uses the green stuff that encourages growth, but not to switch to the red stuff that encourages blooms until you start to see them.

I asked if it might start the blooms to switch to the red stuff at the time of year that the tree is supposed to start blooming (that's what I did for my plants--not that they grew outside but I changed the light cycle to simulate winter). She wasn't sure. I think we'll look into that, though.

It may take a while for fruit trees to bloom, too.
