It's a ridiculous sport but I grew up liking the LA/Oakland Raiders because of their colours. I used to have a jersey with '32 ALLEN' on the back. My friends all liked the Miami Dolphins. American Football has died in popularity over here which is understandable really...it's crap.

I guess it's a matter of opinion. As an American by birth, I'll take the NFL over soccer any day.

I feel the same about soccer. Don't really care if Europeans are not into it (just don't reply).

To answer the question, I have about 3 teams that I really love. My favorite usually depends on the roster each year:

Buffalo Bills
Tennessee Titans
Seattle Seahawks

I know, I know. But I also know that this isn't the only team who does this. WE just got caught!!! Come on, you really think no other team cheats and tries to steal plays? It is very embarrassing and because we've won, or shall I say 'won' so many games it hurts even more. It's embarrassing, Belichick should be ashamed of himself. The Patriots are a talented team and have hard working team members and now they all have egg on their face. Belechick needs to face the repercussions and if it means losing first pick drafts then so be it. He deserves that, but it's going to hurt the rest of the team. Sad.

You are absolutely right...I am sure many other teams do this and cheat in various other ways. It's all about who gets caught.

But the Patriots are such a good team that they don't need to do things like this, especially so blatantly. Now when they get caught, their image is a little bit tainted.

I still think the Patriots would have won all the games they did either way, this just makes them look bad.

Exactly. There was absolutely NO need for this. None. We have A+ players on this team and what happened is degrading.

Not to mention the target on our backs cuz we win all the time.

in that SI article on Peyton he said that they taped his plays and I figured since he said it all out in the open and stuff there wasn't a problem. I think because it was published last week, they were watching for them this sunday disbelief

I am sure other teams do that or other stuff, it's just harder for those at the top, because they supposedly set the standard. I bet if the Raiders had gotten caught every one would have laughed and said, Damn even that didn't help them..lol

and before the Raider Nation rises against me I am a bay area girl so I grew up watching and loving the Raiders until Al Davis moved them to LA disbelief
Now I am 49er FAITHFUL married to a DIEHARD Raider fan. wink

THE BAY SHALL RISE AGAIN!

Listen, this is something for all the anti-Pats fans to get riled up about. Every team does this and you guys know it! We just got caught! It didn't make us win Superbowls, it didn't enable Hobbs to run 108 yards for a touch down or Moss with a 40yd reception.
