NO, I'm not pretending anything there. The sun was shining in my eyes, and I was getting quite annoyed by it. Plus we both had hangovers from camping out the night before (We were only 15/16 but beer is easy to find in Rural Alabama).

I've thought about him from time to time and wondered what became of him. The last I had spoken to him was before I joined the military, and the 3 years that had separated us (I moved to another part of the city and he moved out to the boodocks), I realized how much of a southern country bumpkin he'd become.

I imagine he's really rednecky now, and my fashion mullet would just clash with his real mullet.
