buying tix at the box office(not Prince-related)

at the risk of sounding dumb, do people still by tickets at the box office for anything anymore? I dont mean last min nite of show, but in advance? I wanna know because I am gonna get some WWE tix this week and dont want to pay the extra charge of ticketmaster
