I forgot my ID last week and I had to get someone else to buy the beer for me.

I do and will be 34 in less than a month. My ID picture looks nothing like me- in the ID pic I've got dark hair and a mustache- they'll look at my ID, look at me, at the ID, back at me- so funny! Socks still got butt like a leather seat...

No - never. Not once have I been ID'd - certainly not these days. I'd like to think it was down to a certain level of maturity but it's probably the bald head and beard.

In some states, you have to be 21 to enter a bar (or the bar area of a restaurant). That's how it is here in Washington state. Other states, like Massachusetts, will allow people under 21 to enter the bar area of a restaurant... they just can't be served adult beverages. Perhaps the oddest rule is the one they have in Oregon. I was down there on business, and according to a sign on the door to the hotel bar, under-21's can enter a bar only if they're with a spouse over 21. How do they verify whether someone is married to another person, especially if the wife didn't change her name? Meggy and Igopogo get that all the time. Here in NY State she's till underage and she still hasn't changed her last name on her ID yet. So if they go someplace they're not known, she gets But at their regular places it's "Hi Mrs P*****, you know you really shouldn't make a habit of this." "Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind"-Dr Seuss
