Cleavage I am not trying to make mountains out of molehills here but I have a very serious question concerning cleavage. Certainly a topic that has been brought up before and the "Seinfeld: episode with a young Denise Richards probably did a better job exploring the topic than I am about to do. But please, I need some help on this and it is either this or paperwork so help me out.
I encountered a female yesterday who was wearing something massively low cut. It's one thing if I was at a club or something but this was a place of business and, well to put it bluntly, she was about to fall out of stuff. So I'm trying my best to maintain a conversation and meanwhile, just below my peripheral vision, are the "pointer sisters" just hanging out, blam! So what is the proper protocol here. I am a happily married man and I'm not looking for anything else but when someone is so blatantly trying to display an aspect of their body, am I supposed to look? Ame I insulting her if I do not, seeing she has taken such great pains to display attributes she is obviously proud of. I just don't get cleavage. If it is not to look at, what is it for? (Yes, I understand the whole lactating, nursing the young process but that is a different story). But why does some females outside of a social setting that is more inviting to cleavage-bearing (a bar, rock concert, other areas of attracting mates) insist on wearing a shirt so low it is below her pants. I'm not complaining, I'm just confused. I just don't get who it is for. I know it is probably all Darwinian somehow but by and large guys do not do this. I mean sure there are the thong wearers at the beach and the whole gender has a lot to apologize for regarding Larry Blackmon of Cameo but guys don't usually wear clothing exposing our hoohaws to the bank. So could we explore cleavage in this thread and get to the bottom of the issue. All good things they say never last...

Exposed cleavage is for men to look at and other women to be envious of.
Look away, bub. You're doing the right thing.

If I get a full endorsement of the Org females I may use that as license to occasionally peak as opposed to physically straining my retinas to maintain respectable eye contact. Don't you have a dress code where you work?
Have clients complained? Or are you the only one who is bothered? If the attire is unacceptable then she needs to be told. Some employers will tell their employees to go home and change. This was not an employee, this was a customer. And my query is not a complaint just a clarification on the theory behind cleavage bearing in situations where it doesn't necessarily seem like bearing cleavage is called for. I have no idea why women get upset when men look at their racks.

The way I see it, if they show cleavage, I'm gonna stare. If they don't want men to look they wouldn't wear it. 'A pillow covered in all our tears'

I Look, therefore I Am.....
I tend to look at it like this....I don't stare like I'm fresh out of prison...but I'm too old to blush when I see cleavage.....or to look away.... ...the subject has come up during EO briefings that I've given, and someone made the point that looking and leering increase in the severity of offense as the attraction diminishes....thats to say that a woman being looked is less likely to respond negatively to the looks if the looker is someone she likes....conversely, if the looker is someone that she doesn't like or isn't attracted to, the response is overwhelmingly negative..... just playing devil's advocate on this one....
