I have been considering Yoga. Does it help with weight loss too?

Fucking right is does.

Just remember that when you first start you feel you'll never be able to do it...but give it just 4 days and you'll be well on your way and won't want to give up anymore.

Carrie

I know how you feel, sort of...

In the last 12 years I've moved 8 times and each time I didn't know where I was moving until about 4 months prior. When we get to our new location we have about a week or so to find housing. It is really stressful.

I can tell you that alcohol helps.lol

I hope that you find something soon. Something will work out. Life always has it's way of working itself out, but it doesn't make it any less stressful when you're going through something like you are.

I don't know why I don't just do yoga at home. I know the basic positions and such. I should do it now. lol

I can't find ANYthing in my neighborhood. sad I really wanted to stay here. I'm looking at 2 apartments in the Wedge neighborhood tomorrow and 1 just a couple blocks off Lake Calhoun, so totally heart of Uptown.

I'm freaking out about my apartment situation now and I'm totally feeling stressed. I'm feeling yucky and headache-y and fluttery tummy all cause I'm worried about finding a decent apartment by the end of the month, especailly considering I'm going out of town Thursday and won't be back till Monday.

I worked from home today to set up appointments and I saw 1 apartment today (big NO) and I'm looking at 3 tomorrow.

So, other than taking care of the things you need to take care of, how do you combat stress?

You'll get there. Just try to do a little bit at a time. It's far less overwhelming that way.

I've recently found that watching a Hayao Miyazaki animation like Spirited Away and a couple of glasses of wine does the trick

Sometimes the best apts don't get advertised until after the 15th of the month.

I try to walk stress off, sometimes I walk for 10 miles or more at a time.
Or if it's really bad, I clean something, sometimes I end up cleaning the clean but it can help.

Why would I say something mean to you if you're stressed? Have I suddenly become a spiteful person overnight?
