The "I'm Gonna Get You Sucka" Appreciation Thread i watched this movie today.hadn't seen it in awhile and forgot how funny it really is!
my favorite parts was whenever Bernie Caseys' Character walked anywhere, he had the band playing the theme from "Shaft"  .yes Isaac Hayes is in it too!
"A theme song....every hero should have one." oh, and my FAVORITE LINE from Bernie Casey(talking to Jim Brown and Isaac Hayes about taking down Mr.Big) : "Please, You big muthafuckas call selling red beans and grits a BUSINESS ?"  show some love ya'll!

LOVE that film, plus I lust after Keenan (even before he cut all his hair off & had that awful hairline) - one of my faves

Put Keenan on the map.....great stuff. He was still low key until this flick. The premier for the movie was held at the Chinese Theatre. Every black actor in hollywood was there. The after party was across the street. Very cool set that night. Hell I even met Chris Rock, yello teeth and all. Music.............is the THANG! | |
