Why blockout a woman's nipples on her breast when being shown on TV?All they block out is the one little section where the nipple is.I mean any funtional person can picture the little dot they block out.And why show a man's bare chest.This topic has always seemed strange.Anyone know why they do this?

Hmm its probably over the fact that majority women in the public won't be walking in public showing their breast in the public eye . Some men would show their chest in public like while swimming and it appears to be ok to TV shows on local channels to not censor showing a mans chest since in the public men will do this more likely. So, I guess they do it over what people mostly likely see in public stereotype. The only channels that won't censor are channels like HBO, Showtime and etc. Yeah I know sometimes even censoring it still can see through it.

Could it be because...men run the media? I think it's partly because there is a stigma to showing any female breasts on TV (along with the vaginal area - hey Natasha, what's your take?), the only parts on men that they don't dare show is...SCHLONG. Only once on a movie about Breast Cancer did Meredith Baxter Birney show her Breasts. Well, I think it is stupid but that's the part the Nipple that gets aroused and it's the most Sensual and Sexy. HBO shows alot of Nudity. There was a Massage movie with Mimi Rogers and now really they are showing men's Penis' on Cable and in Movies. Hooray. Bruce Willis Color Of Night, Huey Lewis Short Cuts, Ewen McGregor forgot the movie title Peter Firth Equas, Harvey Keitel The Piano. Men should be showing much more must women always have to show Bush and Breasts in the Cinema but women viewers can't see men's Penis'? Show us ! We wanna see them. Equal viewing Pleasure. Well, it's been a few years i've been in the states, and i don't quite rmmbr, but here in europe it's not unusual 2 c a woman's nipple in an ad on the street or on regular television, 4 bathing products or whatever. Also playboy and even Penthouse can b found on display in show-window of a bookshop. So i was wondering, is it the same over there? Or do i understand this correctly and do they even censor regular movies when shown on tv???
