To those who are single and not in relationship, why is that?

I rarely meet men I'm interested in dating. And I don't date just for the sake of it.
And I guess it's even more rare that I meet men interested in dating me.

Because I hate going out, so I rarely meet new people. Also, I am in college and most of the guys at my school are frat guys and I'm not into that scene

there are a couple good reasons I can think of.

The MAIN one is my past relationships especially my last one have been really bad. so i have a bad mindset.

I'm not really good with commitment and I get bored easily.

I have a general distrust in people. Plus, I do not want to date anyone seriously until I graduate college. My focus needs to be solely on me for the next two years.

Since my engagement broke up, I've shyed (shied?) away from dating as much. I look at every guy like "What's your issue?"

Is this a rule that we are supposed to be with someone? Like everyone wants other people to be in a relationship.

I havent been in a relationship for 3-4 years(going on dates yes, and NOTHING has became of it). I just dont see the point of it really.

No offence, but Im am WAY happier NOW then I was when I was in a relationship. I know where ALL my money is going( I dont drink, not into the party scene, I dont do illegal drugs), pay my own bills, take care of my daughter, and dont have to worry/report to anyone about where im going, what time Ill be back, and the like. I also have a 12 year old daughter who I have to think about 1st before anything else(she IS #1 in my life).
