i don't mind lowbrow humor if it's supported by really witty, funny, smart humor at the same time. for example, i think "strangers with candy" was a brilliant series in how it dealt with taboo issues and found the humor in fragile topic matter...plus, the wordplay on that show was nothing short of genius at times...but the physical comedy and potty humor was every bit as funny, mainly because the show didn't RELY on it.

Okay, for some reason, the general consenus of people who thought that "Shaun of The Dead" and "Hot Fuzz" were funny (Seemingly, only because they were "British") on here, confuse me. Okay, maybe "Shaun of The Dead" (As I haven't seen it), but I rented "Hot Fuzz" and I stood there with a blank look on my face, for most of the time. Explain that. Maybe, I was missing something, in the middle of being . Anyway, I think that "Richard Pryor" is maybe the funniest human being I have ever seen do stand-up. But, someone like "Katt Williams" is meh. "Jamie Foxx" should also do another stand-up because he's funny, as well. "Robin Williams": I like him because I just might be a nut....much like him. We're just eccentric. Yeah, that's the word.

Call me insane, but when I listen to my satellite comedy channels, George Lopez's standup gives me a giggle at times with his "Mira. Mira.", yet Carlos Mencia's makes me want to ram my car into children. He's trying to hard to be Joe Rogan--crass for the sake of shock value. Unintelligent.
