Nineteen forty seven July, I believe it was the eighth
I’ll tell you a story, I’m sure you’ve never heard
I was shocked that day when the strangest thing occurred
This silver ship came crashing to the ground

Dressed very fine, his skin was kind of green
We started speaking telepathically
About his journey across the galaxies
Just then someone was coming and he said he’d better hide
Green said that he’d return, and that I had better lie
So these two men in black, came strolling down the lane
Said, “Maam’ how did you get here? Your social? And your name?
They asked me what I saw, and I said, “Not a thing”
They told me, to just stay put, then took off in a wing.
Green came back jamming’, some tunes on his guitar
I knew that I’d go anywhere with this Universal Superstar
I wasn’t about to let the CIA, ruin my date
So we took my car to Dayton cause it was getting’ late.
