"Kids in The Hall"

Anyone ever seen this show before? I used to tune into it when "Comedy Central" would have their "back-to-backs" with , "KITH, "SNL" "MadTV". It was quite funny. Their humor was different. Something I wasn't use to, beforehand.

Yeah, I don't know why "CCentral" took it's archival episodes off the air. It seems as though the old "MadTV" eps. are also going downhill and soon to be pulled from "The Comedy Central Block". I, personally think that they could do without "Mind of Mencia". Then again, who doesn't. Seriously, it just seemed like a lame rebound to "The Chappelle's Show".....VERY LAME!!!!

One of the best sketch comedy shows ever! Those guys were absolutely brilliant.

Cathy and Kathie, the Chicken Lady, the 'Nobody Likes Us' duo and the prostitute sketches are a few of my favourites.

Oh my, after writing this, I now feel the need to watch the DVDs! biggrin

I caught them live in San Francisco. They were so hilarious. I was a huge fan of the show.

nod

my ranking would be

monty python
kids in the hall
the state
upright citizen's brigade
SNL (as a whole with all the different casts over the years... some terrific, some terrible)
big gay sketch show
the ben stiller show
shetv
the andy dick show

i have not seen stella or the whitest people you know yet, but they are supposed to be funny.

Oh my God. The chicken lady!!!!! "I'm masturbating...." falloff

I also like that character that Bruce McCulloch did, I think her name was Tammy and she sang a song about roses.

I used to be in love with Dave Foley. When I saw them live I yelled out "I love you Dave!!" He just looked out into the audience with a weird look. Everyone laughed. Hello, you're in San Francisco!!!!! I used to think that he looked like Isabella Rosellini when he did drag.

And how can I forget Buddy.

Yes!!!!! heeeheee!

The first sketch I saw with them was where they were all sitting around a fire and they're talking about this guy. They reminisce on what a great guy he was blah blah blah. Then one of the guys says something like, "Yeah, it's so sad, the way he struggled." They're basically talking about a guy that they killed. I know it sounds wrong but I love dark humor. That sold me.
