CAPUCHIN MONKEYS. WTF?!? They're like a cross between having a cat and a baby. WTF?! I have a neighbor on my street who has one and whenever he takes it out for a walk, you'd think the Pope was in town the way people swarm around him and that poor monkey. Would you own a capuchin monkey? I'd like one, but I'm not sure if changing diapers is better than cleaning a cat box. oh, and HI POOK

Ex-Moderator | It's just sooooo cute!
I didn't know it was legal to own one, though. |

No I do not want one. I love animals but that thing sort of scares me
I guess it is the hands and feet that freak me out. [Edited 7/4/07 8:20am]

i always want to stop my neighbor when i see him walking the monkey and say if he ever needs a monkeysitter i'd be happy to give it a try. it really does look like a very sweet pet. i'd just be afraid of any sudden monkey rages. i wouldn't know how to deal with that.

It's fucking WRONG to keep monkeys as pets. WTF with putting clothes and shit on them and keeping them from living as nature-like life as possible... cappuchin monkeys live in family groups in the wild, they NEED other monkeys to be around.
I hate this. | |

I hate this. It only proves that Anxiety's veggan lifestyle is a ruse to cover up his Monkey trade business. I also dislike circuses with animals, SEA FUCKING WORLD (even though I've been ) , and "Experimental" whaling. WTF?

WTF? it's true. when people call me a "monkey smuggler" they don't know how right they are, not only metaphorically, but literally! and I THINK IT'S FUN AND I AM PROUD OF IT!!! no, seriously, the next time i see my neighbor with his monkey i'm going to throw gasoline in his eyes and retrieve his poor monkey, rip its little dress off and send it back to the wilds of lincoln park to join its family who must be missing it terribly.

I don't like zoos either unless there's a valid conservation programme in place and enough room for the animals. The Stockholm Zoo, Skansen, used to have polar bears and elephants when I was a kid and my parents insisted we'd go every summer I was in a foul mood every time spouting abuse to the staff etc.

Trust me, I *KNOW* it's funny. I'm just ignorant about what it means. Is it a gay thing? or a reference to pop culture I just don't know about?
