So there's nothing to be hidden if love is really there from the start. If you can't be completely open with your partner...if you feel the need to keep SECRETS...then you shouldn't get married. I think we all agree that he's of a scummier sort... I agree....to many here I think are focusing on the fact that he cheated.....and yeah yeah karma and he got caught ...scum bag and all that..whatever .... I was actually looking at the fact that this company if it did indeed pass details on to a person who was not on the credit card violated their own privacy policy The spouse though? I mean what are the rules with sharing information with your spouse. The atty keeps calling the wife a "third party." My definition of spouse is that a wife is the same damn "party" as the husband. Ain't that how marriage goes legally? She could have signed for the flowers if they came to the house so wny can't she see the bill? This guy is just mad cuz his dumb ass got caught and wants to use the legal system ti take it out on somebody.

Agreed. What you're stating is pure logic. Of course, when some jaded individuals let the logic of thier loins lead their life, they end up fucked every which way all around. Time is a trick and Karma is a bitch. [Edited 8/13/07 18:33pm]

I know what ur saying and my views on marriage are the same..don't get married if u intend to keep secrets etc.....but legally no, u are not the same person and u don't have the right to recieve ur partners info....I quick example is my husband is the primary holder on one of our credit cards and also on one of our accounts..the problem is I do all the bookwork and when somethings not right and I ring ..they will not give out any information to anyone but him....now I completely agree with this..(as fustrating as it can be) ..they are doing the right thing. (we should have set them up jointly to begin with and saved ourselfs alot of hassle...as it turned out ..my husband rung them, put a pin number on the account and now I only have to quote the pin and they will pass the info on..as HE rung and requested it that way ) [Edited 8/13/07 18:34pm]
