Family photo I'm sure there is probably already a thread for this somewhere but I can't find it. So sue me for putting this up here but I just wanted to post a picture of some the women in my family.
This was taken on a recent trip to Chicago to see my daughter (she goes to school there) and to also see The Color Purple stage play. Unfortunately my sister Nikki couldn't make the trip. (l-r) Shirley(my grandmother), Jasmine (my daughter), ME and Jeanie (my mom) I AM BEATLOAF

Lovely family photo - thank you for sharing that. You must be proud. "I may not agree with what you say but I'll fight for your right to say it"
Be proud of who you are not what they want you to be...

Thanks guys! I just wanted to share cuz it was really the highlight of my year to have all of us together. I don't have a lot of pictures from earlier in my life and I'm trying to capture everything now so that my kids and I can have memories (in print)to look back on and pass on to future generations! Time and the memories created are life's greatest gifts. Beautiful you realize this.
My sister and I last week. The most important friend in my life, forever. We are big fans of DORA. (My niece is I mean, but she did not come along on this trip)

Terilicious, I can see that over the upper right side your daughter has a The Doors poster. Does she like Mr. Morrison?
That's a neat family photo you've got there.

And oldy, but this is my extended family and my nanny (to my left/the viewer's right in front)
I was bored out of my skull during that ceremony (I was still devoutly atheist back then )

She would walk up, snap a photo of me, laugh quietly to herself, and go back to the back yard to dine on the ever present feast that bitch.

Anyway, how did she manage not to be in the ceremony? She was helping with the night's feast. So there were a few folks who helped out with that. I, unfortunately, was the eldest son of the eldest child of my grandfather (Who passed away--that's his picture on the table). He was a popular buddhist monk who retired to lay life before he died. In the tradition of Northeast Thailand, the funeral is a sad-ish affair, but one year later they celebrate his rebirth of sorts. I attended this ceremony a year after he passed away. Unfortunately, I never knew him. I was very young when I saw him and have no memory of that.

That's a neat family photo you've got there. Yes she does! I think on that wall she has Jim, Bob Marley and Harry Potter. Thanks! That was a great trip. I finally got to go to Navy Pier and just hang out with my grandmother a bit too. She lives in New Mexico and we're all in St. Louis so we don't get to see her that much! I AM BEATLOAF
