I've been a prince fan for about 10 years...5 of which have been online...and to tell you the truth...I think the internet may hurt more than it helps sometimes...think back..way back (and this is for those of you who have been a fan for way longer then me) before the internet...what was it like being a prince fan? it was mysterious, intriguing, we never knew what prince was up to...but that was ok...I would have to drive to Boston (about an hour and a half) to get a glimps of an uptown mag...and I wouldn't even buy the mag cause it was too dang expensive. Remember that number that you could call and get Prince info on? hehe...that was neat! (ok..I was much younger then) and hearing on the radio that there was going to be a prince concert, was so amazing cause it was like outta the blue!...I don't know girl...now with the internet...everyone hears this or that about this or that, and he said but didn't deliver...and boo freakin' hoo about everthing...I think we have too much info now...and it ruins Prince for alot of us...Maybe that's why the NPG website doesn't say too much...maybe Prince want's to keep that level of intrigue? I dunno, but I do know that Prince would certainly still be Prince with out Prince.org
