Did You Ever Get a Phone Call in the Wee Hours of the Morning?

My phone rang this morning at 4:10 a.m., waking me up. I didn't answer it, and there was no message left on my answering machine. I'm assuming that the person had the wrong number, but now I'm wondering who the heck was calling me at that ungodly hour? Hey, maybe it was Prince! Just kidding. lol lol
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Good idea! I unplugged my phone in the bedroom when the phone rang, but I need to figure out if there's a way to turn the ringer off on my kitchen phone.
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Yeah, but we are in different time zones, so when it is late and you're drunk, it is still early over here in New York, so I would just talk to you! biggrin

Yes. Usually it's related to my husband's job, but sometimes it's been something serious, and LOTS of times it's been a wrong number.

I do not take kindly to being awakened from my slumber. I used to get mad at my babies for getting me up. lol When my first was born and he'd cry I'd go into his room to feed him and when I laid him back down in his crib I'd have a serious talk with him. I'd say, "Hey, do you see the sun? No. Of course you don't because it's night time and that means it's time to sleep not play." lol

Yes..and when I get calls at weird hours, the first thing that comes to mind, is my parents, then next thought it's my girls, then when I see it's some a-hole with the wrong number, my heart then can leave the pit of my stomach and I can relax again!

Last time someone called my house at the wee hours of the morning was 2 years ago and it was my first baby's father:

...it was news that something happend to my brother...He didn't know what happend and still to this day, I'm not sure how he knew but his girlfriend was first cousins with my brother's friend sad I then called my father and my grandmother told me that my brother died! He was in a car accident! I had to keep calm so that I could actually speak and tell my mom...Let's just say, I knew it was going to happen but I didn't know it was going to be that soon. He was only 23 years old with a baby on the way. I handled everything b/c my whole family was too week. Even though I was greiving, I had to stay strong for him and he still visits me now and then. I did catch myself crying and still do from time to time but never let myself fully grieve. I'm his older sister and we looked just a like so I knew that he would've wanted me to handle everything. sad Now, if my phone rings,in the middle of the night, I still get that erie feeling like that dreadful morning...I hate that!
Um... let me warm up my vocals
Me ME ME ME ME...U U U U U!
