I've had two uncles and 1 aunt leave California. all sold their homes here, 2 moved to Texas and my aunt to South Carolina. All three paid about the same for the new homes around 230,000, California is way to expensive but we are so used to the great weather here its hard to leave

the cost of living is ridiculous here, but the only places i'd want to live in outside of l.a. are Madrid, Barcelona, or Amsterdam. if i do end up with children, which i don't expect to, Denver or Minneapolis would be likely destinations. but DAMN i hate snow.

tis why AZ is growing.. everyone leaving cali like i did 12 yrs ago... i knew i could not afford what i can here... yes its hot but nice... U can move a hour north of phoenix and have better weather and its growing like crazy.... plus its still close to cali and everything else on the west coast
