Thank you! I know she is only 15, but it seems like yesterday she was just a baby. She is growing up way too fast.

Thank you and yes I am broke now. At least I have six more years to recover until my next daughter turns 15.

It took a year of planning and work and we spent over $10,000 (thank god for padrinos lol ).

It took her a while to find the exact dress she wanted but it was well worth it.

Si, I have been a padrino many a time!!! I have 3 daughters, they all go to private school, so quinceaneras are out of reach for me.

My sister had quinceaneras for both of her daughters, so I know personaly of all the time and money and dedication and effort it takes. But you are left with wonderful memories for your daughter and you to last a lifetime. nod

I have three daughters too...but at least have six years to recuperate before the next one...but my youngest two are only two years apart so that is going to be rough if they both want a Quince.

nod!!!!!

It was A LOT of work, time, effort and resources but I am so happy we did it. My daughter was so happy and proud, and that alone made it all worth while. Just to see the smile on her face and see the sparkle in her eyes.

And she is a very good kid...none of that "my sweet sixteen" type drama you see on that MTV show.

Thanks and it was a great time. Everything went as close to perfect as possible. Everyone/thing was on time (Limo, cake, ceremony, etc), there were no fights or other incidents and we did not run out of food, soda, beer or anything else.

Since you are from the Bay Area you probably know all these places...these pictures were taken at Central Park in San Ramon. The misa/mass was at St. Bernardo Church in Oakland and the hall/salon was in San Lorenzo.

falloff We tried to talk her out of it too. But our offer of spending her summer in Mexico with her tias y primas (including much time at various beaches) and $2,000 in spending money didn't work.
