Yup, I use Macs, as well (Mac mini Core Duo) and it really makes no sense to use anything else than an iPod. The software is dead simple and the integration with iTunes is unbeatable so there you go...
As far as to which iPod. There's really only 3 questions to ask yourself considering what you've mentioned so far: 1) How much disc space do you truly need on the iPod? - You mention 5,000 songs... if that's an accurate figure, then the 30GB iPod claims to hold around 7,500 songs at 128Kbps AAC. So that could be a good fit for you. 2) Do you have any interest in adding movies to it? If not, stick with the 30GB - otherwise go straight to 80GB model, imo. 3) What color? Hope that helps. | |
