Its really sad but it would have to be my symbol ring and pendant, I have always wore my pendant on Princes Birthday and at all prince parties and meet ups so its sentimental , a lotta memories, including front row at an aftershow...I can die happy now lol

Ex-Moderator | Anxiety said: i can't think of any one "thing" that i value madly. there's stuff i use every day and am very happy i own - my mp3 player, my laptop, etc. - but i wouldn't say these things have great sentimental value. i feel like just about anything i own could be easily replaced. i have a great big limited edition book about ziggy stardust autographed by david bowie, that's pretty cool to own i guess.
I'm looking around my apartment thinking the exact thing. I'm looking forward to getting my new laptop (whici has been delayed shipping ) and I love my CDs and stuff. But nothing I have couldn't be replaced. I don't feel all that attached to anything. I do realize how much I miss my fuzzy white purse that has been lost. Cause I can't find it to replace it anymore. But again, it's just a purse. |

That's tough. I think my favorite possession would be my art/art history books, notebooks, files, and papers. Then my Prince collection.
But my most treasured possession is a particular letter which is only thing I have to remember a certain person by. It is the first thing I would grab if I had to leave my apartment in an emergency. (Sorry for being so vague...it's a very personal letter.) After that I guess my Master's degree. Not so much the actual diploma/piece of paper, but the degree as a symbol of my hard work and achievement.

The flirty note that my mum wrote to my dad decades ago. It's really sweet; they worked in a restaurant in Amsterdam; she was a waitress, he was a cook, seperated by one floor, food would go up and down in small elevators.
My mom send a note up to the kitchen, saying, Hunnybums, why don't you send down some pastry? It got intercepted by my dad's boss, though, who sent down the note with the remark; Who is Hunnybums? I don't care who he is, but I will not allow people being flirty with pastry. My mom kept this note in a box for 35 years, until I found it... I got it framed.

Look at all the bootlegs!!! If I keep my answer to only material things instead of people, my computer would be at the top of my list.

Probably my 1880's Eastlake furniture in general, and the great victorian era gas fireplaces in my home. A sample:

I have not many things, I can call my possesion, as I gave all that up, years ago, for that what I believe.
But some of things I would miss right now, if I wouldn't have it are: my walky radio, my sunglasses, my mini New Testament book and my mobilephone (even without saldo). That things help me.Okay, maybe something to write, pen, colors and a block of paper. Yes, and then go ahead.
