Damndamndamn Insomnia

Yup. THree hours of troubled sleep.
Then burning eyed wandering through the house.
Am now listening to my Prince b-sides collection (God instrumental playing now) to see how long it takes til breaking point (point when I fall asleep sitting up)

And I need to call the peeps at work to tell them I aint coming to work; I am too wired.

It's the water. Reason they love my house somewhat more is cuz it is ground level AND damp.

Yeah I thought as much, about the water... ground floor is BAD. You need one of those electric mosquito killers. nod Or a personal servant, a hottie with an oiled body who stands guard over you as you sleep waving one of those huge sunshades slowly nod

Read book. Check. Until eyes watered.

Watched tv. Check. Until finally The Omen II drove me to sleep.

Then slept a few hours, then woke up again. This is the fourth night.

I hope you've been getting sleep Hamster. I haven't been able to sleep the past 2 nights. It's soooo hot in my bedroom. I wish I had air conditioning. I wake up every hour. Ughhhhh!!

The thing is, the less sleep I get, the more I get done at work. I'm so hyper. Is that weird?

Insomnia sucks monkey balls mad

I used to suffer from it for about two months. Now only occasionally.
But back then it was ridiculous...it came to a point that I would go to bed convinced that I wold not fall asleep. The wost thing was that constant flow of thought in my head. The weirdest thoughts. Stories made up just to keep me occupied. bzzzzz.....Now I see the ocean and I am a handsome pirate my ship sailing towards the horizon. Well hello there mr. talking mice, most pleased to see you again.....bzzzzz

At times I just couldn't stand it. All I could think about was: "Why am I not asleep yet? It must be like 4:30 already. Go to sleep you fucking moron, you're gonna look like a zombie tomorrow at work. Am I asleep yet? Obviously not. Fuck!"

Then after a sleepless, restless night my eyes would burn all day and every thing would piss me off. I would get so tired by the midday, that all I could think of was to go to bed. But if went to bed I just couldn't do fall asleep. I'd be too paranoid that I will no manage to doze off. I would lay down, and try to relax to some calm instrumental music but no luck. I once even bought "The sounds of the Amazon forest" CD convinced that this would put me to sleep: By second listen I wanted the Amazon forest burned to the ground.

Fortunately after some time (a period which seemed like forever) the insomnia just stopped. I have no idea what caused it. All I know is that I do not want it back.

Hope you sleep well, Herman and all the other org insomniacs.
I'm not mad at you, I'm mad at the dirt.

I'm lucky if I get three or four unbroken hours of sleep.

My body clock has disappeared recently. Ten minutes can feel like ten hours and vice-versa.

I find that listening to chatter at really low volumes helps me nod off sometimes. I recommend the Feast Of Fools podcast, although sometimes it's so funny, I don't want to drift away.

I never go to bed before one a.m. because if I go to bed any sooner, I just wake-up earlier.

My dreams have also been incredibly vivid and memorable recently too.
