POLL: worse drivers--old people VS under 18

toss up--old people drive 25 miles below the speed limit, causing backups, or lose control of their cars and run over people. young kids drive 40 miles over the speed limit, causing you to fear for your life when they ride your bumper, or lose control of their cars and run over people.

u decide.

no offense to the foggies but

licenses should only be used as a form of ID

after age of 70

Under 18 - they scare the hell out of me when I'm driving. I'm not the best driver out there, but damn, these kids need to slow down!

I agree with that. If you want to drive 50, stay the f--- out of the left lane!

i read once that a person of any age who uses a cell phone while they drive has the response time of an 80-year-old.

so if you're on your damn cell, this question is moot!

Teacher

Here you can't get a driver's license until you're 18 but it doesn't matter, I still say old people cos ime they drive more erratically whereas dumbass young drivers are consistently being assholes ie speeding, cutting off etc and it's easier to anticipate.

I completely disagree with this and so will you if you're fortunate enough to still be alive at 70. My father is 75 and he's a great driver. He's never had one accident in the 55 years that he's been driving. He's got great reflexes and gets his eyes checked regularly. We live in a very busy city and he still drives around every day without causing any problems.

I think that once you hit 80, you should have to test every year (both written and in car).

There are plenty of 70somethings out there who aren't fit.

my mom can't operate her tv remote lol

elderly drivers think it's okay to do the speed limit in the left lane. of course when they were in their 20's, the speed limit was 35 mph--so going 55 or more now is asking a bit much. they start acting like they're the millenium falcon or some shit-- lol

Yes, that's very true, but there are people of all ages that aren't fit to be driving. Wouldn't you agree?

no, because that'll get you drunk and you'll get a DUI. that's different than driving w/ the cell phone.
