Who used to watch Growing Pains?

wave

This was one of my favorite tv shows when I was a kid. I had a huge crush on Kirk Cameron and and then Leonardo Dicaprio when he joined the cast. I was just on my favorite gossip site, dlisted, and the dude that played Boner is Hot Slut of the Day today lol. Seeing that man brought back so many memories. So who liked this show too?

Here's what Boner, aka Andrew Koenig, looks like now

I used to watch it all the time when I was younger. Now I have got the theme song in my head.

I loved the show... ABC on Tuesday night with GP and "Who's the Boss" and the rest...damn it was awesome for awhile. I loved the episode where Mike played George in "Our Town" and got the acting bug but that was the beginning of the end as the characters metamorphasized. Mike got watered down and started caring about stuff, Carol became less geeky and started dating the school jock, Ben grew to be 7 feet tall, and damn if they didn't bring on a "late in the game" pregnancy, the result being the always annoying Chrissy. By the time Leo came on, the Titanic was pretty much sunk.

The show has four or five really good years from the viewpoint of a teenage TV junkie with no social life. And I still can't believe that Jason Seaver's real-life son is one of the the hottest musical stars out there.
All good things they say never last...
