By the way, I can only dance funk or disco (decently), I don't know anything about country, salsa, tangos or that classic stuff...but I love techno because of its free, "do what you want" nature...

In the 80s I always wished I could break dance. I practiced and practiced, but never could master it.

I love to dance. And *I* think I can dance - others may disagree - but when a song you love GRABS you and you're lost in the music ... it's when I feel most free, almost.

No specific dance routines, I just go with it. But if I don't like the music, nu-uh. And alcohol always helps.

I was, er, 'seeing' this dancer on and off a few months back and I think I got on his nerves with all my questions about 'living the life of an artist'. He was, like, 'Well, it's not all that. You train hard, you work hard, etc, etc, etc..'. But I find it fascinating. He was going to take me to one of his more experimental shows and introduce me to the other dancers to see what they had to say about it, but it never happened...
