If you can remember what is your worst nightmare ever?
I once dreamed about zombies and the dream felt so real!

I don't dream much but it seems that when I do they are nightmares. I once had a dream that someone was shooting a gun around me and I was trying to hide so that they couldn't get me. Nightmares seem so real in the moment that you cant help but wake up scared out of your mind, my heart was racing

I'm at the Hoover damn on vacation with my sister and her family.

My oldest nephew finds a cave and walks into it. I follow him.
There's a steep ravine towards the back of the cave, and he walks over the edge.
I scrampled down the cave, climbing downward as fast as I can to find him.

I wake up feeling awful.

Mine wasn't so much scary as disgusting. I was a cannibal and I was eating brains.

I remember having a mouthful of the stuff along with vertabrae (which were small for some reason).

You can understand I was a vegan the next day, though it didn't last.

Not the worst by far but the most recent I was having some kind of surgery and I was completely awake and coherent. They cut me open at the ankle, all the way up one leg and all the way down the other.
It was awful.

it was horrible becuase,it kept reoccuring for like a week.
i would enter a house and then enter a room,where the walls were made of eyeballs that were growning teeth. i step out and close the door..then i would get chased inside where eventually i was caught,and women and men were eating my stomach..

I don't know. I don't remember there being any aliens there. And it was for something minor, like the flu or something. It wasn't painful in the dream, it was just quite terrifying as I can't even watch, like, ER on tv without hiding behind my hands. I can't take blood and gore and this was my own.

This reminds me. I used to dream I was being chased by wolves alot. And sometimes the wolves would turn into those Aliens from that Ridley Scott movie starring Signorney Weaver.

I had 2 recurring nightmares as a child, one of them involving a guy from Electric Company dying and turning into a ghost and chasing me and my family. My dad and I always got away like scooby doo by turning a corner and watching the ghost go right by, but my mom and brother didn't turn the corner and that's when I always woke up, and I'd cry because I didn't know if the ghost got them.

This is still very vivid and it's from my teenage years...

I dreamt that my mother had won a competition to be the first person in the world to try a delicious new food which had been invented...

There were camera crews in my parents' house and I was there with my brother and sister as a chef lowered a domed platter onto the centre of the dining room table...

The dome was removed and underneath was a newborn baby with dozens of tentacles coming out of it's stomach and back. On the end of each tentacle was something resembling a peeled shrimp. The tentacles were waving around and the baby was crying...

We were advised to pull the shrimps from the tentacles. As my family started pulling the shrimps away and eating them, the baby started screaming. I expressed my concern but my mother responded that it was only a vegetable which just happened to look like a baby with shrimp-laden tentacles...

I woke up before I actually went anywhere near it.

It was terrifying.

I dreamt that I walked out into my mother's backyard to discover my brother hacked to pieces in a pool. He was still alive and his eyes were wide and blinking really fast and he was trying to talk but could not.

that was the worst ever. Ugh,I wish I could forget it.I had to sleep in my parents' bed for a few days after that one. damned horror movies.

when I read the synopsis for the hostel movies it reminded me of the most horrible nightmare I ever had. I was at this tropical resort, and I was randomly opening doors in a corridor, and behind this one door were all these old men doing unspeakable things with themselves, children, each other. I mean like cutting off body parts and stuff and having sex with whatever they could.
