i usually like to be second to the shower, because that means i get more lazy time while i wait for the other person to get ready, plus my shower takes forever for the hot water to kick in, so the shower is warmed up by the time i get to it.

It's like the Wicked Witch got destroyed or something. It's really gross. There's puddles everywhere. It's just nasty. Am I being OCD? I just don't wanna shower anymore.
OCD nuffin'. I feel the same way after someone has showered. It takes A LOT for me to get in there. It's just horrible after my dad showers. He's like...the diva of showers. he washes his hair, he uses a bajillion towels, and leaves puddles all over....ALL OVER. O_o I got so tired of it that I actually wear flip flops in the shower.

I live alone, so it's not a problem for me.
But I remember years ago back in Uni I went over to visit some friends for a few days in Trieste, Italy. They had one of those squat-down continental toilets. And the shower was on the wall over the toilet. So you put a removable grid floor over the toilet to have a shower! You'd be thankful if someone had only been using the shower before you.

You need a squeegee in the shower...and a bathmat on the floor outside of it. Whenever anyone takes a shower...they squeegee the walls. That dries it for the next person -- with the added advantage that you don't have waterspotted walls.
The bathmat keeps the puddles off the floor. Insist that it be used -- and hung up afterward. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I don't understand that crap...why do they make people share bathrooms and showers, they should organize that crap, that's why I never went away...can't stand having no privacy...it does seem like prison.

The bathmat keeps the puddles off the floor. Insist that it be used -- and hung up afterward. Oh, lawd. I'm usually the last one to go in the bathroom as well. Mainly because it allows my lazy ass to faff about a little bit longer and I take so long getting ready , I'm not holding anyone up. Well, that's not technically true as I'm usually holding everyone up whilst they're waiting for me to get ready but at least I know they're all showered and ready to go. I hate that knocking on the door and 'We've got 5 minutes to go' stuff. In fact, most times I prefer it if people just go where they have to and I meet them there - simple solution! Or I could just improve my actual time management. My pet peeve is going into a bathroom after someone's had a boiling hot shower. It kills me.

They make suggestions like using water saving shower heads and toilets. I do my part..I collect rain water to water my indoor plants. I only take showers and no baths really unless I really need a good soak but I always feel guilty doing that so i stick to quick showers. My place is set up with the special thingies for the toilets so it does not use as much water.
