What about where you live is just plain old bootleg?

For me it has to be the cable television. Now I suscribe to cable TV through the cable company here and pay my bill every month and whatnot. I have a cable box and everything. But what I've discovered is that the "cable" here is really directTV and every subscriber just gets a splice of it or something. Everytime we have a downpour, the satellite goes out and I get some message about upgrading my receiver. wtf? BOOTLEG!
