Planet Earth
A good backpack
Pin drive
Alarm clock
Bedding
Dorm Fridge
Microwave
TV
Some sort of brainwashing to keep him out of a frat/Abercrombie and Fitch.
Condoms
Some sort of industrial strength bong glue.
Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.

Mach, good luck and congratulations! My son just graduated last month from CalPoly San Luis Obispo, with a bachelors in Philosophy. What a journey for student and parents! What they need is cash, hold hard cash! We had a joint account so we could help control the money, and we would deposit cash in to his account, and he in turn could use a debit card, but we would have access in seeing where the money went. Good Luck!!

Posters and pictures of friends and family to make the dorm room feel more like home.

Some good curtains if he is living on the ground floor - I lived on the ground floor for one semester and there were a couple of times that I caught people looking through my window . . . . eek

We just did this for my niece and basically it's everything they would need for school of course. For the room... linens, lamps, throw rug, laundry basket, TV everything they would need (or the basics) to keep them occupied in there own bedroom... and don't forget Lysol between my niece and her friends they had at least 10-15 cans of Lysol.

varies

True. The term paper format you use would vary according to the course one is taking associated with their major.

It can depend on the school.

Some schools insist on one one or the other regardless of course though.

MLA & APA Handbooks ( He will use both)
Towels (I remember when I first moved into the dorm I had no towel and had to go to the college bookstore and buy one towel that was 30 dollars)

Microwave - (He will probably be on a meal plan at his dorms, but sometimes you crave a midnight snack)

Mini Fridge (will be perfect to stock water and gatorade and fruits and microwavable goods so that he can get his energy back after practice)

A Mini Vac - ( I hate dust and hate dirty carpets)

One of those shoe organizers you hang in the closet (I used to hate it when my dorm mate had his shoes and shit all over the place)

Finally on the journey there you must go to the bookstore and buy him his first ever pullover sweater from the college he is attending! He will live in it! lol
