"Burglar" Whoopi Goldberg

http://www.videodetective...shedid=441

I love these breezy 80's movies. Anyone remember this one? Bobcat goldthwait is in it! A true relic from the 80's.

She's a fantastic comedian/actress. In the movie Ghost she played serious as well as comedy role.

Burgler was another good movie.

Yeah, i gotta admit, "ghost" wasn't that bad really. I dont like chick flicks much, but that one is OK.

"jumpin' jack flash" screams 80's aswell

Haha. I dug my vhs and soundtrack out. The belinda song ain't half bad. Infact, I forgot I liked the soundtrack actually. The Jacksons song "Time out for the burglar" is a good tune aswell. Whole album sounds like its stuck in a 1987 timewarp. In other words, very, very comtemporary for a year that was in a transition (newjack and house were just about the explode onto the pop scene). I love it.

"Planes trains and automobiles" and "uncle buck" are my fav John Candy films.

Whoppi was cool in "burglar". She actually looked quite attractive in a few scenes.

I love Whoopi.

I want to catch this flick and "The Telephone" -- I heard it was horrible, but I love horrible '80s films. Escapism, escapism!

I saw Burglar just a few weeks ago on tv a Saturday afternoon. I'm afraid it couldn't quite keep my attention. I started text messaging my friends and didn't pay attention to the ending of the movie. biggrin

Hey krystal, u know the film "earth girls are easy"? The whole valley girls thing, and the whole look of the film, the fashions, lingo, everything screams late 80's.

Look at this pic. What are they wearing? I love that fashion and i miss my Donny Wahlberg rat tail sad

I hate breakdancing movies LOL. I was too young for them so the nostalgia isn't there. But

Now those movies I grew up on. Not forgetting...

"class act". Not a house party, but i prefer it to them. The premise is so original. Both of them have their id's mixed up at school, so the clever one goes to the dumb ones classes and vice versa lol I still love it though.
