So How Did Your Favorite NBA Team Do on Draft Day?

I don't expect much from Chandler, but Isiah's trade for Zach Randolph is interesting. If Zeke can get this cat to behave himself, pass the ball and play a semblance of defense, I can see the Knicks winning at least 45 games next season.

I read Isiah's thinking about trading David Lee for Ron Artest. I wouldn't do that.

Very well. Definitely one of the winners on draft day, and lawd knows they need help.

Atlanta got Al Horford (3) and Acie Law (11).

You think ATL will make the playoff this season. Y'all have a nice upcoming squad with All-Star JJ.

Starters
Acie Law
Joe Johnson
Marvin Williams
Josh Smith
Al Horford (will he start at the C?)

Reserves
Joh Childress
Sheldon Williams (bastart is dating Cnadace Parker, HOW???)
Tyronne Lue
Zaza Pachulia

I have 3 teams I love.

Portland has been named as the head of the draft class by many sites for the second straight year. In addition to landing Oden, we got rid of Z-Bo's massive contract and got some more trade bait with Frye and Francis. I've heard rumors we are going after a big time small forward, perhaps Shawn Marion! Elsewhere, I'm excited for the Spanish duo of Rodriguez and Fernandez, as well as seeing the potential of Koponen, McRoberts and Green.

Utah got a really nice steal in Almond, who should provide some more perimeter help with the departure of Fisher. Fesenko can add more toughness inside.

Seattle also made some lofty moves. Ray Allen is now a Celtic, and Seattle seems intent on building from the ground up with Durant, Green and West. Szczerbiak is a bit of a mystery, but hopefully he can stay healthy and focused. Now that Rashard has reportedly signed with Orlando, they can pursue some other free agents to help inside.

Yeah, seeing it like that they look to have some potential to go well over .400 this season and win a good 8 or 9 game more than last. Some decent reserves too. Don't know if Horford could play center consistently in the NBA though in his first year, but I maybe he's big enough and strong enough to play the position some of the time. hmmm They reckon Acie Law is very NBA-ready so let's hope he fits right in and has a solid first season.

Boston Celtics

I love Ray Allen Great guy, but I think we gave up too much for him. We will surely make the playoffs this year but I don't think we're done dealing yet. I would not be surprised if we got a Shawn Marion or a Chauncey Billups. I think that giving up Delonte West was stupid. The #5 pick cool, Wally Scerbiack who gives a shit. But I will miss D.West. We got a potential steal in Big Baby Davis in the second round. We also got a solid swing man in USC's Gabe Pruitt. The X Factor for us will be Al Jefferson. I predict he will be an all star this year.

Starters
Rajon Rondo - PG
Ray Allen - SG
Paul Pierce - SF
Al Jefferson - PF
Kendrick Perkins - C

Reserves
Gerald Green - SG
Big Baby Davis - PF/C
Ryan Gomes- SF/PF
Gabe Pruitt - PG
Tony Allen - SF/SG
Leon Powe - PF
Theo Ratliff - C
Brian Scalabrine - Permanent Bench Warmer
Allan Ray - Gatorade Boy

I read on another site Chauncey's agent is denying a deal has been reached. But I'm sure they'll work things out.

I love that kid's game. Ainge should be shot if he trades him. If AJ continues to improve, he's a bona fide All-Star.

The Lakers got some long-term help but no impact player that would appease Kobe Bryant. Then again, the Lakers have been a real-life Greek Tragedy for 5 years now.

They can get to .500 in the East. I'd pull the trigger if I were Isaiah. His job is on the line. But Zach Randolph, Starbury and Ron "Our Test" on the same squad? He should go into psychiatry if he can contend with those guys!

I don't want to lose David Lee. I think he can be a special player for us. I love Ron's heart, but his negatives outweigh his positives. IMO, NY can win at least 45 games without Artest, if Zeke can get these knuckleheads to pass the ball on offense, and play SOME defense.

I bet Boston wins more games then New York this year and am willing to wager something on that!

I'll ignore that comment... smile

BTW, Grant Hill just signed a two-year deal with Phoenix. His last chance to get a title.
