CATS. WTF???

ok, so anyways, my sisters cats are still with me (Been with me since January 19th of this year).

Baily the Turkish Angora is my favorite cause he actually ...oh I don't know.. likes me?

Adrian, the calico is a bitch. She's the angry 'ole heffer in this family and bossy, demanding, and just downright unhappy.

So now that you know a little bit of your personalities let me get to the reason why I'm bothering to talk about cats at all here.

One of those little bastards sprayed my window curtain. It STANKS.
I washed my curtain in the washer on the "sanitation" cycle which cooks it at 150 degrees for 2 hours or some shit, and the stank smell seems to have gone away. But I think she/he got some of it on the carpet.

How the hell do I get rid of that smell? PetZyme seems to work barely.
I read up on it on the Internet and it almost seems like I'm doomed.

Also, is there a way to poison cats without and make it look like an accident?

ok, I don't need to know the last part, really. neutral

I bought a bissel spot cleaner and they have a pet odor formula stuff for carpets. Unfortunately, with cats, it's an eventuality. If they get pissed off, or sometimes they just do it, but they spray. sad

Try biological soap powder & warm water put over area for a while then wash off.
Or contact ur local cattery and ask what they use

Sounds like she's marking territory or you changed her schedule and she doesn't like it. That's normal cat behavior unfortunately. My cat (long deceased) used to scent our carpet in the corner of the living room when ever our schedules changed and her routine would have to change with it.

Don't you love being a cat owner?

Thansk littlemissG, I figure it was me being away on vacation and returning and having very strange scheduled etc. Plus oh get this. Those bastards will only eat "Science Diet" catfood. And it was 10 pm last night when I discovered that they were out of food but the pet store was closed and walmart doesn't seel science diet. So I bought them some Iams or some shit and filled their bowls with that. THEY HATE IT.

And I won't be able to get them more Science Diet until Thurs pissed

Oh, and Luarel, yes--I bet they leave your room alone for that reason. Plus you're hot.

I’ve used the biological soap powder trick when my kitty was small; I only mentioned the cattery as the one we help always smells nice whatever they use seems to work. shrug
Or I can send my old kitty lady round 2 kick booty! 2 make sure it never happens again lol

btw, Lucy has started trying to pick our cat up, which she can't obviously do because the cat is almost as big as her.

But she grabs her anyway and yanks!

awwwww touched

My nephews, when they were big enough to pick the cats up used to do it all the time and the cats would just stay there with these pathetic frowns on their faces. lol

But after a few years, the big white one (Bailey) learned to swat at them and they lived in utter fear of him (he's declared though so it just amounted to an ass beatin' from a cat).

No, I don't condone declawing rolleyes

I have a question about this smell since Imago has shared with us and I realize it may be a stupid one...but do cats drink water or not enough water because their pee is strong this can't be denied. Plus, I've seen all other pets drink water but I don't think I've ever seen a cat drink water.

Cats most certainly drink water. Plenty of it.
