What did you want to be when you grew up? (as in in the past what did you want to be when you grow up?) A writer.
Did anyone have any super cool job ideas? like rockstar? At 44 years of age, I still daydream about being a rockstar or an artist. I think it would definitely be a super cool job, but a hard way to earn money and to get recognized for your talent. Did you achieve the ideal occupation? If not what made you change your idea? No, a thing called reality set in, and I realized that I didn't have the talent to make it as an artist. I do have good writing skills (and I used to write short stories as a child), but again, being an artist is a tough field to be successful in. messed up the quote again edit [Edited 6/30/07 10:07am] RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I definitely wanted to be a rock star when I was kid. I even interviewed one for "Career Day" in high school. Now that I play in a band, it's not really my idea of an ideal career.
Right now, I want to be a film curator when I grow up and maybe a teacher in a really cushy teaching job. [Edited 6/30/07 12:43pm]

When I was growing up, I wanted to be a lawyer. I have yet to achieve that...I had my kids...and instead of doing that, I was a stay at home Mommy. Which is an awesome job! But now that my kids are older. 21 20 and 14...I am toying with the idea of going back to school. Proud Memaw to Seyhan Olivia Christine ,Zoey Cirilo Jaylee & Ellie Abigail Lillian

I wanted to be a lawyer but by the time I got in high school, I hated school so much that I knew I wasn't going to college. The last year in high school, I became pregnant so I went into retail to support my son. My life can full circle because I ended up getting a career where I am hewlping people, I went to college and plan to go to law school when I graduate in 2009.

As a small kid, my parents drilled it into my head that I should be an Architect. So I grew up telling people that I wanted to be an Archictect.
Then in High School I got more into Art. I decided that I wanted to be a famous Artist. But then somehow I got into Fashion and decided that I wanted to be a Fashion Designer. (Even got accepted to F.I.T.!) I was so confused that when I actually went to college...I merged all my "wants" into a degree in Interior Design. Fifteen years later...I'm designing commercial fire alarm systems. By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory!
