LUNAticMoth

OK for some this will be blahblah and for a few it will be cool smile

Night before last I was standing way out in the mountians listening to around 7 people doing a small jam session with a good old friend. Jim was telling me about the diminishing local Luna moths due to over usage of electic lights effecting their natural mating and egglaying habits

Last night - far out in the mountian woods I was sitting with TR watching Hurricane Bob's band do a jam session and attracted to the stage lights was a stunning Luna moth - The base player in the band said "glad I do not do acid anymore cuz I would have started a conversation with that fairy moth" lol

This morning Jess says to come outside so she can showme something

smile YES there it was

a stunning Luna Moth on my deck

mushy I took a couple pix to share ( a tad out of focus because i had to spin myself and cam upside down to get them )

It's pretty.

I wish people would stop dissing moths and loving on butterflies.

It's like the whole gay scene. Everybody loves the pretty twinks and circuit boys. But the moths are like the "bears" of the butterfly scene.

It's very pretty in the picture, but if I saw one in real life I'd likely run away screaming.

I don't like bugs.
